Tara and Patrick’s Wedding at V. Sattui Winery

You probably remember Tara & Patrick when I blogged their engagement portraits at the beach last spring. Nine years have passed since Patrick fell in love with Tara in her black Guess swimsuit, and their wedding day was worth the wait. The love and excitement, fun and laughter, family and friends made their wedding one of the ones I’ll remember for a long time. The funniest moment was when we walked way down the street to take romantic pictures in the vineyard and about ten minutes into shooting we looked up and here come the caterers with hors d’oeuvres  and champagne . We laughed when Tara and Pat made a bee line for the sliders and chowed down in their wedding clothes. Lots of fun, enjoy!

Tara - CELESTE! What can I say? These are AMAZING! From the minute I met you I enjoyed working with you. From our day out at the beach (which was a blast despite the cold!) to the actual wedding day you proved yourself to be the most fun photographer ever and it shows through every moment you captured. It’s so exciting to be ON the blog!! You are too talented for words :0) Thank you for everything!

Emily & Ryan’s Silverado Wedding

I love the saying ” Got lemons? Make lemonade!”  One of the  wonderful things that has come because of the recession is a re-thinking of the traditional wedding. Suddenly, the smaller wedding is in vogue. Emily and Ryan were married in San Diego earlier in the week and celebrated with friends and family at the Silverado Country Club later in the week.  They hired me for three hours. We spent the first hour riding around the grounds of Silverado having fun just the three of us and Cami, driving. We took romantics and had the time to really play. The other two hours I spent capturing friends and fam at the reception, and a few events. What was the result of this ” out of the box” “I want a more expensive photographer for less time” thinking? Some of the best photographs of the season and a relaxed and fun time.

Bobby from Petaluma High School!

I photographed Bobby’s sister’s senior portraits two years ago, so when Bobby called I was super excited. I really like photographing the guys because invariably they aren’t hugely ( hugely? is that a word?) thrilled with the possibility of a photo shoot and without fail at the end , they all say ” that wasn’t so bad, that was fun”. Bobby showed up with great clothes in my favorite colors, black, gray, and brown, and off we went. Had a funt time and loved the images. Great job, Bobby, thanks for making my job easy.

Jacqui From Cardinal Newman High School

Jacqui tagged me this morning when she posted some of her senior portraits that we took for her so I got inspired to blog about her shoot. We had a great time that day. We pre planned to use her grandfather’s old jeep that the family loves and that had meant a lot to her growing up. Jacqui’s dad and brother came in the jeep and disappeared as soon as we had finished with it. It was fun to meet them, they just didn’t want to hang out for the rest of the shoot. I dont blame them and sometimes, too many people, even family , can make someone nervous. So off they went into the sunset and then Jacqui and her mom and I shot all over this secret winery. I say secret because Jacqui’s mom asked special permission to shoot there after hours. We finished up at the River . A great shoot, beautiful model and an even better memory. I LOVE my job!! Thank you, Jacqui’s family for the best group effort ever!

What is it about #67? Here is Jazmin from Windsor

What is about #67? Everyone just loves it. When Jazmin put her senior pictures on FB, the one that everyone really loved was #67!  She was in the studio with Lindsay helping her pick out her senior portraits when she looked at her phone and said, Everyone is making comments about my pictures I posted. So I asked her which one,. #67. So here they are. What do you think?  Remember,if you’ve been lagging about getting your pictures done, there is still plenty of time to have your senior pictures taken by Celeste and make your yearbook deadline.
